Penygawsi Kwik Cricket Team 2015
Year 5 and 6 pupils from cricket club had a fabulous day out representing the school at a local kwik cricket festival. With only one narrow defeat to the tournament finalists the boys did extremely well with some convincing wins over some of our local rivals.
The weather was extremely kind to us for the day (unlike a previous outing to The Arms Park) and we demonstrated some great batting, bowling and fielding along with great teamwork, particularly communicating with one another and supporting each other during the games.
A big thank you to Mike Grossett who has been giving up his time to coach the children on Monday’s after school.
