We've been kindly allowed to use the wonderful facilities at Miskin Cricket Club to train however the attendence has been very poor. The most we've had is eight children, we need at least ten to make up a team. It would be a shame to end the after school club but due to the lack of interest from pupils I may have to. The school has had a cricket team for over 6 years and has provided players to the county and even Wales Under 11s. Only a couple of seasons ago we were the 2nd best team in the whole of South Wales. For such a large school it is disappointing that we are struggling to raise a side. We have only one child from Year 6 training - usually the most of the team is made up from boys and girls from this class.
The club is open to ALL Junior boys & girl.s It begins straight after school at 3.45pm and finish an hour later. If you need directions to the club come and see me in school.
